RussiaWatch online live stream NTV
NTV is one of Russia's biggest, oldest and most famous national television channels - Segodnya news, big talk shows, documentaries and hit series from Moscow, streaming live today in Russian via online TV.
First launched on 10 October 1993 by Vladimir Gusinsky's Most media group, NTV was the very first Russian private channel with a national broadcast license. Since 2001 it has belonged to Gazprom-Media, and it still broadcasts from the famous Ostankino television center in Moscow.
News, Talk Shows and Prime-Time Hits
The broadcast day is anchored by the flagship Segodnya (Today) newscasts and Itogi Nedeli (Results of the Week) on Sundays, with daytime talk led by Mesto Vstrechi (Meeting Place) and heated debate formats. Prime time brings the long-running crime series, Chrezvychaynoye Proisshestviye (Emergency) and the quiz classic Svoya Igra (Jeopardy-style).
A Channel That Made TV History
NTV's famous 1990s newsroom set the gold standard for Russian independent television, and its hotly contested 2001 takeover became a landmark of Russian media history. Today the channel streams free at ntv.ru and is carried across all Russian cable, satellite and terrestrial networks.
An NTV live stream today is Russian mainstream television at its full strength, completely free to watch online.
