ChinaWatch online live stream CCTV-2
CCTV-2 - Caijing, the Finance Channel - is the economics service of China Central Television, the state broadcaster of the People's Republic of China. Broadcasting in Mandarin from Beijing, it is the reference for business news in the world's second-largest economy, followed by professionals at home and viewers abroad who watch TV online.
The channel traces its origins to 1987, when CCTV's second programme began specialising in economic information as China's market reforms accelerated. Over the following decades it grew alongside the economy it covers, adding stock-market coverage, consumer reporting and investigative business journalism.
The economy, hour by hour
The morning opens with First Time (Di Yi Shijian), the breakfast business bulletin. The investigative flagship Economy 30 Minutes (Jingji Ban Xiaoshi), on air since 1989, anchors the evening, while the interview programme Dialogue (Duihua) receives Chinese and international business leaders. Consumer-rights reporting and live market coverage from Shanghai and Shenzhen fill the live television day.
China's business window
The official page tv.cctv.com/live/cctv2 streams the channel in high definition, and the CCTV YouTube channel publishes programme highlights, so the live streaming audience follows Chinese business news from anywhere in the world.
