Costa RicaWatch online live stream Canal 15 UCR
Canal 15 UCR - Quince UCR - is the official television channel of the University of Costa Rica (UCR) - documentaries, science, arts and culture broadcast from San Jose, streaming live today via online TV.
First launched on air back in 1982, Canal 15 is still Costa Rica's one and only university channel par excellence: a non-commercial cultural and educational broadcaster run by the country's oldest, biggest and leading public university. Today its modern brand is Quince UCR, with the UCRQ platform carrying all its productions on demand.
Television with a True University Seal
The daily program grid is built on science and nature documentaries, Costa Rican and Latin American art-house cinema, university debates, classical and folk concerts, theater and the children's educational blocks. Major academic ceremonies, public lectures, graduations and big cultural festivals go out as full live television.
From the Campus to the Platform
Quince UCR's own productions - national films, documentaries, series and original programs - live on the dedicated UCRQ streaming service, while the channel itself keeps its free-to-air frequency on Costa Rica's national digital terrestrial television.
A Canal 15 UCR live stream online today is Costa Rica's public television culture at its very most thoughtful, free for everyone to watch.
