1TV - First Channel is the flagship television service of the Georgian Public Broadcaster, broadcasting from Tbilisi to viewers across the whole country. As the main screen of Georgia's state-owned broadcaster, it carries the weight of public service television: national news, political debate and the big shared moments of Georgian life, a natural destination for anyone who likes to watch TV online.

The channel operates as a public institution rather than a private business: it is funded directly from the state budget, which frees its newsroom from commercial pressure and obliges it to serve every region and every audience of the country. From its Tbilisi studios, the broadcaster has grown into the backbone of Georgian broadcasting, trusted on election nights, national celebrations and major international events.

What the Whole Country Watches

The daily grid is built around information: bulletins, morning updates and evening analysis keep the flow of live television going from dawn to midnight. Between the news blocks come political talk shows where politicians, experts and journalists argue over the week's decisions, alongside documentaries, cultural magazines and entertainment made for family evenings.

Moambe and the Eurovision Stage

The flagship newscast Moambe, the Georgian word for news, has been the channel's signature for decades, delivering reports from Tbilisi and the regions every evening. And each spring the channel turns into the national home of the Eurovision Song Contest, carrying Georgia's entry and the grand final to viewers in every corner of the country.

Today the full schedule is only a click away: anyone can watch 1TV - First Channel online and follow the same signal that Georgians see at home, with 1TV live streaming bringing news, debate and national events to any screen, wherever the viewer happens to be.
