mytv Bangladesh is a Bengali-language satellite and cable television channel broadcasting from Hatirjheel, Dhaka, serving viewers across the country and the global Bengali diaspora who watch live TV in their mother tongue. Owned and operated by V.M. International Limited, the station first went on air on April 15, 2010, timed to Pohela Boishakh, the Bengali New Year.

The channel was founded by the late Omeda Begum with a mission to carry Bengali language and culture to audiences at home and abroad. From its Dhaka base it grew into a general entertainment and news service, mixing home-grown drama with current affairs and music, and its newsroom now feeds a steady stream of national coverage alongside the entertainment grid.

Bengali Stories, Headlines and Song

Drama sits at the heart of the lineup, with serials and single-episode plays filling prime time, while bulletins such as the rolling 24-hour news updates keep the schedule current through the day. Music has its own corner of the programming, and films, talk formats and cultural shows round out evenings and weekends. As online television grows in Bangladesh, the channel keeps its mix of fiction and information within easy reach.

Serials and Studio Favorites

Among the titles viewers return to are the drama Mukhosh, the much-loved music show Amar Gaan, and the weekly celebrity vehicle Tawhid Afridi's Show. Current-affairs programming includes Ghotonar Antorale, which goes behind the day's events, alongside magazine formats like Amader Chokh and Paker Ghor.

mytv Bangladesh live streaming brings this Bengali mix of serials, songs and headlines to screens far beyond Dhaka, so expatriate audiences can keep up with new episodes and breaking stories wherever they settle.
