Canal 10 de Tucumán is the free-to-air television channel of Tucumán Province in northwest Argentina, owned and operated by the National University of Tucumán. Broadcasting from studios in Yerba Buena with its transmitter on the slopes of Villa Nougués, it mixes public-service television with a close-up view of provincial life for viewers who watch TV online as well as over the air.

The station went on the air in the early 1990s as a university project with an educational mission, and that origin still shapes its identity. Over the years it grew from a campus broadcaster into a full-service provincial channel, yet it kept its ties to the university: students train in its newsrooms and production crews, and academic voices appear regularly in its shows.

News anchors the lineup through TVPrensa, the channel's news service covering provincial politics, community affairs, health and agriculture across the valleys. Morning and afternoon blocks carry interviews with local figures, service information and cultural magazines, while live television coverage of regional events - from harvest festivals to official ceremonies - keeps the signal close to everyday life in the province.

From Campus Studios to Provincial Festivals

Beyond the newscasts, the schedule leans on university-produced content, documentary pieces about northern Argentina and entertainment formats built with regional talent. Special live event broadcasts, such as the National Horse Festival in Trancas, draw large audiences each year, and sports features regularly spotlight the province's athletes and clubs.

For tucumanos at home or anywhere else in the country, Canal 10 de Tucumán live streaming extends the provincial signal far beyond the reach of the Villa Nougués transmitter, keeping viewers connected to the news, culture and celebrations of Argentina's smallest but most densely packed province.
