Primantenna is an Italian regional television network born in Turin in 1976, today reaching viewers across Piedmont on digital channel 14, Liguria on channel 79 and parts of Lombardy. Popular entertainment, generous helpings of music and genuinely local information define a station that generations of northern Italians grew up with, now followed by many who watch live TV online.

A Day on Channel 14

Mornings belong to live studio talk: Cosa succede... mattino opens the day with Wlady, followed by Melodia Italiana, where Wilmer Modat spins Italian classics live on air. Local information slots and Consiglio Regionale News keep Piedmont's civic life in view, with national weather forecasts threaded through the grid. Later hours bring Motori all news for car enthusiasts and the nostalgic Radio Ricordi - Arcobaleno della musica, again with Wlady. For cord-cutters the same free online TV signal mirrors the antenna broadcast.

Hosts Behind the Music

Music is the network's second language. Canzoni senza frontiere crosses borders with Ettore Andenna, while Musica in piazza sends Elia Tarantino to festivals and markets in towns like Moncalieri and None. Food and heritage meet in Tra borghi e sapori, hosted by Ilaria Salzotto among the villages of Piedmont and beyond. Ma che musica gathers singers such as Diego Zamboni and Tonya Todisco, and L'appetito vien cantando proves that a good meal deserves a soundtrack.

Nearly five decades after its first broadcast, the Turin station still feels like a neighbor rather than a network. Primantenna live streaming carries that warm, provincial mix of song, talk and hometown headlines to anyone who wants a slice of everyday northern Italy, wherever they are.
