Fountain City TV (KCCG-TV2) is the government access channel of Kansas City, Missouri, produced by the City Communications Office. Available to cable households across the city and to anyone following live TV online, the channel is the direct line between City Hall and the residents it serves.

Known for years simply as Channel 2, the service was relaunched under the Fountain City TV brand while keeping its original mission: open the workings of municipal government to everyone. Programming runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, on Spectrum, AT&T U-verse and Google Fiber, with a steady stream of civic content in between meetings.

City Hall, Live and Unfiltered

The heart of the lineup is gavel-to-gavel coverage of the Kansas City Council and its committees, from budget hearings to zoning debates. Special city events, press conferences and public ceremonies also air live, and original productions explain city services, infrastructure projects and community initiatives, all of it easy to stream TV online without a cable subscription.

Council Sessions and Civic Life

Regular fixtures include City Council legislative sessions, committee meetings on finance, housing and transportation, and Mayor's Office briefings when major announcements break. Missed a meeting? The City Clerk's video archive keeps every session ready for replay.

Fountain City TV live streaming brings Kansas City government to any screen, at home or on the go. For residents who want to see decisions made rather than read about them afterward, this is the channel that keeps City Hall in plain sight.
