CSU TV is the student-run television operation of Colorado State University in Fort Collins, part of the Rocky Mountain Student Media Corporation that also oversees the campus newspaper and radio station. Known on campus as Campus TV, it gives journalism and media students a working broadcast outlet, and anyone can sample the results through online TV.

The channel traces its roots to the university's early experiments in educational broadcasting, when CSU used television to carry extension courses across Colorado. Today's version is hands-on and student-led: undergraduates write, shoot, edit and present nearly everything that airs.

Rams on the Air

Programming mixes campus newscasts with sports coverage of the Colorado State Rams, talk formats recorded in the student media studio and entertainment shows produced for course credit. Live television from the channel reaches Fort Collins cable systems, while recent productions circulate through the university's streaming platforms.

Student Shows from Fort Collins

The flagship CTV News newscast covers campus government, research breakthroughs and student life, while sports crews follow football Saturdays at Canvas Stadium and basketball at Moby Arena. Workshops and volunteer crews welcome students with no prior experience, making the station a training ground for Colorado's future broadcasters.

A CSU TV live stream and the university's Ram Plus platform carry student programming to alumni and parents well beyond Larimer County. For a hands-on education, few classrooms beat a working TV station.
