Aden TV is the state-run satellite channel of Yemen, broadcasting in Arabic to viewers at home and across the Gulf, and followed through online TV by Yemeni communities around the world. Headquartered in the southern port city of Aden, it mixes national news with entertainment, culture and religious programming.

The station holds a special place in regional history: it began broadcasting on 11 September 1964, making it one of the oldest television services on the Arabian Peninsula. Relaunched after the upheaval of 2015, the channel resumed full satellite transmission from Aden, restoring a national broadcaster for the internationally recognized government.

Six Decades on the Air

The daily grid opens with news bulletins covering Yemeni politics, the economy and security, supported by field reports and studio analysis. Talk shows bring officials and commentators together to debate the questions shaping the country's future, while weather segments and community announcements serve everyday needs.

Drama, Heritage and Ramadan Evenings

Away from the headlines, the channel invests in Yemeni drama series, documentary features on national heritage and music programs celebrating southern folk traditions. During Ramadan the timetable fills with special serials and religious programs that draw family audiences every evening, a tradition that live television audiences have cherished for generations.

Aden TV live streaming keeps this programming within reach of the Yemeni diaspora from the Gulf to Europe and the Americas. Whether following the latest developments at home or settling in for an evening serial, viewers can tune in around the clock and stay connected to Aden wherever they are.
