Chilevisión is a Chilean free-to-air television channel from Santiago, mixing entertainment, news and reality formats for a national audience. For viewers who watch TV online, it is one of the country's most recognisable signals, part of the Paramount family of networks.

The station began in 1960 as Canal 9, the university channel run by the University of Chile, before taking its current name in 1993 after passing into private hands. Decades of reinvention turned it into a ratings contender, and in 2021 it joined Paramount Global, gaining international muscle while keeping a distinctly Chilean voice. Following its broadcasts has become a habit for fans of live television at home and abroad.

From Morning Chat to Midnight Reality

The daily lineup opens with magazine-style talk and rolls through afternoon entertainment before prime time hands the screen to big-tent reality and talent formats. News bulletins frame the day, with morning, afternoon and central evening editions keeping pace with events across the country. Weekend hours lean on specials, films and marathon runs of the channel's flagship competitions.

Programs That Set Chile Talking

The morning show Contigo en la Mañana, led by Julio César Rodríguez, blends interviews and current affairs, while Podemos Hablar with Jean-Philippe Cretton turns celebrity confession into appointment viewing. The cooking hit La Divina Comida, the reality juggernaut Gran Hermano Chile and the newscasts of CHV Noticias round out a schedule that rarely leaves the headlines itself.

Chilevisión live streaming carries that Santiago signal far beyond Chilean borders, so viewers can keep up with reality drama, breaking news and evening talk wherever the day takes them.
