Match TV is Russia's flagship federal sports channel, broadcasting around the clock from Moscow. On air since 1 November 2015, it took over the national frequencies once held by Russia-2 and quickly became the first stop for viewers who watch TV online in search of football, hockey and big fight nights.

The station was created by Gazprom-Media, which merged the sports desks of its NTV-Plus satellite platform with the outgoing state sports service and launched the new brand under general producer Tina Kandelaki. Within its first seasons the channel built a reputation for wall-to-wall tournament coverage, sharp studio analysis and its own sports news service.

Game Days, Race Days and Fight Nights

The weekly grid revolves around live events: Kontinental Hockey League battles on winter evenings, ACA Grand Prix mixed martial arts cards, boxing title fights, plus biathlon and figure skating when the snow season begins. Between the arenas, the lineup offers magazine shows, classic match replays and documentary projects about legendary athletes, keeping live television tied to real competition rather than studio talk alone.

The Voices Behind the Coverage

The daily conversation is anchored by Vse na Match!, the studio show that recaps overnight results and sets up the day's broadcasts with guests from the world of sport. Commentary and reporting feature names such as Dmitry Guberniev, whose emotional biathlon calls have made him one of the most recognizable voices in Russian sports broadcasting.

Whether it is a playoff decider or a title bout, Match TV live streaming keeps every whistle and bell within reach, so fans can follow the action wherever there is a screen and an internet connection.
