Watch online live stream Telekanal Kultura

Telekanal Kultura is Russia's nationwide channel of arts and ideas, a federal broadcaster devoted to theatre, classical music, literature, history and cinema. On the air since 1 November 1997, it remains the country's main screen for viewers who watch TV online in search of culture rather than entertainment noise.

The channel broadcasts within the VGTRK state holding and was known as Rossiya-K until 2010, when it returned to the shorter name Kultura. Across the decades its mission has stayed constant: bringing museum halls, concert stages and theatre premieres into ordinary living rooms, with educational projects and documentary series filling the hours between major cultural events.

Stages, Galleries and Concert Halls on One Channel

The daily grid moves between theatre performance broadcasts, opera and ballet transmissions, classical concerts and film classics. Science and history documentaries explore everything from ancient civilizations to the space age, while educational blocks keep younger audiences close to books, painting and discovery, keeping live television tied to the stage rather than the studio.

Signature Programs and Familiar Faces

The channel's own news service, Novosti kultury, has reported on exhibitions, premieres and festivals for decades, with Vladislav Flyarkovsky as its most recognizable presenter. The theatre talk show Glavnaya rol is hosted by director Yuri Grymov, while art historian Igor Vernik guides viewers through painting and architecture in 2 Verner 2.

From a grand ballet evening to a quiet documentary portrait, Telekanal Kultura live streaming turns any night into a visit to the theatre; for admirers of online television with substance, the channel stays open around the clock.
