Turkmen Owazy TV - the name means Turkmen Melody - is the cultural channel of Turkmenistan's state broadcaster, airing from Ashgabat. For audiences who watch live TV beyond the national networks, it gathers the country's arts on a single screen: music, literature, theater and the crafts of a proud heritage.

The channel went on air in 2009 under the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography, joining the country's family of national channels. Its declared purpose is the promotion of Turkmen art, classical and modern alike, and the preservation of cultural memory for the generations growing up today.

Where Turkmen Art Takes the Stage

Turkmen music leads the daily lineup, from folk performers and dutar masters to pop premieres and concerts recorded in the capital's great halls. Around the music sit cultural news, meetings with artists and writers, and programs on theater, architecture and decorative arts - a grid in which TV streaming becomes a guided tour of a nation's creativity.

A Living Archive of Culture

Films and series with a cultural focus fill the evenings, while holiday specials accompany the country's great celebrations, from Independence Day to the harvest festival. Portraits of remarkable people - singers, poets, craftsmen - turn the schedule into a gallery of national talent.

Turkmen Owazy TV live streaming carries this showcase far beyond the country's borders, so Turkmen families at home and abroad can keep their music and arts close - free live TV online, at any hour, on any screen.
