SALTO2 is the second television channel of SALTO, the Stichting Amsterdamse Lokale Televisie Omroep, the open access public broadcaster of Amsterdam founded in 1984. Where most channels commission their own programmes, SALTO offers all Amsterdammers and Amsterdam organisations an open platform to make and broadcast radio and television themselves, and the SALTO2 live stream lets viewers watch TV online free of charge, around the clock.
