RTVC Tele Caraibes 22 is the television arm of Radio Television Caraibes, broadcasting from Port-au-Prince and reaching audiences across Haiti and the far-flung Haitian diaspora. The radio side of the house, Caraibes FM 94.5, first went on the air in June 1949, making it one of the oldest and most-listened-to broadcasters in the country, and the TV channel 22 signal carries that same heritage of trusted journalism into pictures for viewers who watch TV online.

A Voice Haiti Has Counted On for Generations

Few institutions in Haitian media can match the station's longevity. Through decades of political upheaval, natural disasters and social change, Caraibes stayed on the air and kept the public informed, earning a reputation as the country's reference point when big events unfold. The newsroom in Port-au-Prince covers national politics, the economy, security and everyday life in the capital and the provinces, with reporters filing from across the territory and live television bringing breaking stories to screens as they happen.

Live Talk and Breaking Stories

The heart of the daily lineup is live output: 22 Live and En direct broadcasts carry extended news blocks, open-line talk and interviews with ministers, community leaders and analysts, often running for hours when a major story demands it. Field reports from towns and rural departments sit alongside studio debate, and coverage of cultural events, music and sport rounds out a programming schedule that mirrors the rhythm of Haitian life from morning until late at night.

For Haitians abroad and anyone following the country closely, RTVC Tele Caraibes 22 live streaming is the most direct window into the national conversation, a free online TV signal that keeps the diaspora connected to home every single day.
