TV Guanajuato Canal 8 is the public television station of the state of Guanajuato, Mexico, a government-run broadcaster whose slogan, Orgullosamente Tuyo, means Proudly Yours. For viewers who watch live TV it is the state's own mirror, reflecting the life of Guanajuato's forty-six municipalities from its studios in the capital.

As the media arm of the state, the channel exists to inform, educate and preserve. It documents the traditions of a region famous for its colonial cities, its mining history and its festivals, while keeping citizens in touch with the work of their institutions and the services available to them.

Public Television with a Guanajuato Heart

The broadcast day moves from news and current affairs about the state government and local communities to cultural magazines that visit museums, theatres and artisan workshops. Educational content for students, health and civic campaigns, and coverage of public events fill the grid, much of it produced in-house by the channel's own teams.

Culture, Learning and State Life on Air

Guanajuato's festival calendar, its university life and its rich musical traditions all find a place on screen, alongside documentaries about the state's heritage towns and their crafts. Followers of online TV can watch the signal around the clock, since the station keeps a continuous feed running for viewers inside and outside Mexico.

TV Guanajuato Canal 8 live streaming brings that public mission to any screen, a free and open door to one of Mexico's most historic states, day after day.
