NNTV is the state regional television and radio company of Nizhny Novgorod, broadcasting across one of Russia's largest Volga regions. Russian-language and rooted in local life, it is a natural pick for viewers who watch TV online to stay close to events in this part of the country.

The channel went on the air on 3 September 1992 as the city's first non-state television company, and over the years it grew into the official regional broadcaster, reaching a potential audience of more than three million people. Its newsroom follows municipal politics, industry, culture and everyday stories from towns and districts across the oblast.

On Air in Nizhny Novgorod

The daily grid opens with news and keeps returning to it: bulletins, city talk and interview formats fill the daytime hours, while evenings bring sport, entertainment shows and documentaries about the region. The programming mixes studio broadcasts with reports shot far beyond the capital of the oblast, and live television here means above all local television.

Bulletins, Match Talk and Familiar Faces

The flagship news block Vremya Novostey sums up the day, while Tsentr N and the city talk show Razgovor o Gorode put local issues in the spotlight. Rural life has its home in Zemlya i Lyudi with host Nikolai Talanov, football supporters meet at Posle Matcha, and the culinary show Zvezdnaya Kukhnya closes the lighter side of the lineup.

NNTV live streaming on the official platform carries the full schedule around the clock, so keeping up with Nizhny Novgorod takes nothing more than an internet connection, at home or far from the Volga.
