FETV Canal 5 is Panama's Catholic television channel, run by the Fundacion Educativa de Television with a mission of education, faith and family values. For households that prefer live TV online alongside the traditional antenna, it offers a calm alternative to commercial broadcasting, built around worship and community life.

The station's roots on Panama's Channel 5 go back to 1984, when the frequency first signed on as Panavision and later operated as Telecinco. On 1 April 1992 the channel relaunched under its current name after passing to a foundation created by the Panamanian Catholic Church. Since then its airtime has been dedicated to the integral formation of the person and the family, mixing spiritual content with culture and information.

A Broadcast Day Shaped by Faith

Mornings open with prayer and reflection, and the daily grid keeps the Holy Mass and the Rosary at the heart of the lineup. Around these fixed points the schedule weaves in catechesis, talk segments on family life and documentaries about history and society. Viewers who watch live TV during the week also find news updates and educational programs aimed at children and teenagers, so every age group gets its own slot.

Weekends of Worship and Music

Saturdays and Sundays bring the channel's most attended moments: longer liturgical celebrations, musical programs with Christian artists and series produced for younger audiences. Special coverage accompanies the great feasts of the liturgical year, when processions and services from parishes across Panama are shown in full.

FETV Canal 5 live streaming carries this same signal beyond the country's borders, letting Panamanians abroad keep their Sunday routine and stay close to home. The channel continues to grow as a meeting point for faith, learning and Panamanian culture on every screen.
