TVK Cambodia, the National Television of Cambodia, is the Kingdom's state broadcaster, on the air since 1966 and headquartered in Phnom Penh. Reaching every province through terrestrial transmitters and satellite, it remains the country's most established screen and a natural destination for audiences who follow national life through online TV.

Broadcasting began in the capital in 1966, but the station fell silent during the Khmer Rouge years and had to be rebuilt after 1979. Since then the network has grown into a nationwide service run by the state, representing Cambodia in the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union and carrying live television into homes from Battambang to Kampot.

What Fills the National Grid

News stands at the centre of the schedule: daily news bulletins in Khmer cover government activity, national events and international affairs, supported by weather and current-affairs magazines. Around them the channel layers education for children, cultural features on Khmer heritage, and entertainment blocks that run from music programs to imported films and series.

From Drama Serials to Lottery Draws

Evenings belong to Khmer drama series and comedy, while sport holds a loyal audience through boxing cards, football and regional games coverage. One of the channel's most-watched habits is the live lottery draw, a daily appointment that generations of viewers have followed on TVK. Royal ceremonies, national holidays and festivals are carried live as part of the broadcaster's public-service mandate.

Beyond the living-room set, TVK Cambodia live streaming keeps the full lineup available on phones and computers, so Khmer viewers at home and across the diaspora can stay close to national life with nothing more than an internet connection.
