STV - Stolichnoe Television - is a national television channel of Belarus, broadcasting from Minsk around the clock. For viewers who watch TV online it has long been one of the country's most familiar screens, mixing news, films and entertainment.
The channel went on air at the start of 2001 and grew into one of the three national broadcasters of Belarus. In October 2017 it became the first national television company in the country to switch to high definition, a sign of its technical ambition and its place in the Belarusian media landscape.
News First, Entertainment Always
Daily bulletins track events in Belarus and the world, while the channel's archive holds remembered original productions such as Minsk i Minchane, a portrait of the capital and its people, and the crime magazine Zakon i Kriminal. Films and series fill the evenings, from beloved classics to modern premieres.
Made in Minsk
The programming grid folds in talk shows, documentaries, music programs and weekend movie premieres, speaking to family audiences in Russian and Belarusian. It is live television with a distinctly local voice, from morning information blocks to late-night films.
STV live streaming is available free on the official site, keeping Minsk within reach for viewers across Belarus and far beyond its borders, on any device, at any hour of the day.
