Watch online live stream Sheba TV

Sheba TV is Yemen's state satellite channel, broadcasting from Sana'a as part of the country's Public Corporation for Radio and Television. For viewers who watch TV online and across the Arab satellite world it is the official window on Yemen, carrying the nation's news, culture and public life to audiences at home and abroad.

Launched in 2008, the channel took its name from the ancient Kingdom of Sheba, the civilisation of the legendary queen whose legacy still shapes Yemeni identity. Carried on Nilesat, it was conceived as a modern national service with a particular focus on young people, and it has kept broadcasting through all of the country's recent upheavals.

A Satellite Window on Yemen

The grid is anchored by news bulletins covering Yemeni and regional affairs, framed by current-affairs discussions and official coverage of state events. Around them sits a broad mix: cultural and heritage programs exploring the country's poetry, music and architecture, social magazines and religious content marking the Islamic calendar.

Youth Voices and Cultural Roots

Young presenters and youthful formats were part of the channel's founding mission, and entertainment for a new generation still shares airtime with documentaries about Yemen's ancient cities, from the tower houses of old Sana'a to the mud-brick skyscrapers of Shibam. Followers of online television find in this schedule a rare and sustained portrait of everyday Yemeni life.

Sheba TV live streaming keeps that portrait available far beyond the satellite footprint, so Yemenis abroad and anyone curious about the country can stay connected to its stories at any hour of the day.
