Watch online live stream Canal 1

Canal 1 is Colombia's state-owned national channel, programmed by the Plural Comunicaciones consortium, pairing independent newscasts with celebrity magazines, humor and drama on one open frequency. Households across the country and expats who watch TV online share the same daily signal.

Colombian television itself began on this concession in June 1954, and for more than six decades it operated as Canal Uno under a succession of production houses. After winning the public tender in 2016, the consortium - built around NTC Television, RTI and Hemisphere Media - relaunched the frequency as Canal 1 in August 2017, promising independent journalism and a fresher entertainment mix.

From Dawn Magazines to Evening Headlines

Mornings belong to conversation and lifestyle magazines, midday brings series and human-interest stories, and the evening grid rests on national newscasts followed by entertainment. Reality formats, comedy and film screenings rotate through the weekend timetable, so free online TV on this frequency rarely repeats itself from one day to the next.

The Shows Colombia Talks About

The newsroom anchors the day with Canal 1 Noticias and its midday edition Televista, while Sin Carreta dissects the headlines with morning humor. Lo Se Todo remains the flagship celebrity magazine, Mesa Central stages the big interviews, and Cuando los Angeles Caen tells the life stories that move the country.

Canal 1 live streaming keeps that mix within reach well beyond Bogota: Colombians in Miami, Madrid or Mexico City follow the same newscasts and magazines as viewers at home. It is one of the simplest ways to stay connected to the country's current affairs and pop culture in real time.
